Carol was until recently working with the Midwest implant Institute in America planning, coordinating and running the training for the externship and fellowship programmes in lmplantology in University Dental Schools at:

State University of New York, Buffalo.
University of Puerto Rico, San Juan.
University of Tennessee, Memphis.
West Virginia University, Morgantown.

School of Medicine, Winston-Salem.

The education programmes co-ordinated by Carol at the Midwest Implant Institute were recognised and accredited as further education programmes for the American Dental Association.

Carol has also co-ordinated the auxilliary programme to the Hygienists and Dental Assistants at these Universities.

Carol has an earlier background as a chairside assistant, a dental practice manager and then a dental technician and therefore has a clear understanding of the roles of each member of the team in ensuring a smooth running treatment schedule for this type of work.

Since moving to the UK in 1998, Carol has been involved with the Mill Lane lnstitute and has already helped to co-ordinate and present the auxilliary programme at ADIS 1999, the annual meeting of the Associationof Dental lmplantology.

She has already visited many dental practices in the UK and is able to bring an international aspect to this rapidly growing field of technology.
